Socially Reclusive

Business Studies are one of the better leasons. This is where we learn all about buisness, all about promotion and all about money. We learn all about the data that we may need for making a business succesful. That includes dressing up as a giant bunny.

Our project was to spend a day woking on a product that we could advertise and sell to people that could be given to people at a garden center. A freebie. Our group made a very simple device that was a small waterfountin for in the home and the garden (btw, it wasnt a working prototype). It was nice, very nice.

We then had to advertise at a trade fair against half our year. The buyers would be IBM geeks. It was a good idea and a good time.

I was made head of marketin, as we worked in groups of 5, it was a good postion. We produced a good name for the group (Austin Flowers). So what would be our logo? Austin the Bunny.

Whats the best way to make people take notice of you? Why, dressing up as a giant bunny. Guess who wanted to do it! Yep, me. We made rabbit ears, feet and a banner. The banner went on my body to advertise our stall, the feet went over mine (on them where the words Austin and Flowers). Also the ears, I took my school tie, put the ears on my forehead and pulled the tie tight. The ears stayed. add a few wiskers draw on with a felt tip, you have a bunnyman.

The “protoypes” we sold where no more than old IBM CD’s, instead of making many copys of the prototype. I was looking though he disks, along wih a AOL 5 CD, I found a OS/2 CD (Disk 1). Really cool! I wonder if there is a download on the internet?
