We currently have Australian relatives over. There’s only one program that both we, and they, get on our tellies which we both watch. Not the Simpsons, nor Neighbours. Its Top Gear. The one thing that all of use have in commem is that we like Top Gear.
Crazy world.
Apple, creator of all things white, have screwed me over. Every iPod I’ve had needs a good pair of headphones. I’m not an audiophile (All audiophiles are paedophiles, fact), but I do like a good pair of headphones. The headphones that came with each iPod where fine, just what I needed. But once my third pair broke in 2.5 years, I need to get a new pair.
At my local Apple store, A pair of headphones is £25, or in-ear headphones are £20. Surely you can’t get something better for less? That’s true. First up, there crap in the ears. It feels like having a dry wet willy. The sound is not as good the included phones. Then, 6 weeks after I brought them, the right headphone split in two, and the wires inside snaped. Great, can’t hear half of the song. To sum it up, the Apple In-Ear Headphones suck.
I went to HMV, got myself a pair of Apple headphones for £20. Much better sound, much better quality. Feels good and sounds better. Screw you Apple, thats the last time I buy anything from you! But that iPod Touch is rather tempting…
In the few glorious days of Smoking we have left, many a student is lighting up and enjoying their relaxing tobacco intake. I’m not a smoker myself, but I side with them more than the arseholes who are anti-smokers. Agreed, its a drug, and kicks the shit out your body, but its better than others. Rather smokers than crackheads, coke addicts or Christians.
Anyway, it seems that the people who live round my college don’t like the smokers. Even though its not on the campus, its on the streets outside.
Lesley Forrest, of Hatherley Road, said: “It’s outrageous. It’s dispersing the problem from the college to the neighbours. There’s a sea of cigarette butts.” Dr Forrest added there were students on her street before school, at lunch and during morning and afternoon breaks.
Thanks Dr Lesley Forrest of 16 Hatherly Road, Winchester (192.com). Little question, your a doctor right. So why are you not at a hospital? As I seem to recall, the NHS needs all the Doc’s they get? Please, next time you see someone smoke, go up and tell them to “get off my street”. See how THEY react. The Echo is for those who like to complain, not those that like to change shit. NIMBY (Not in my back yard)!

If, instead of complaining, these people went out and got a job they wouldn’t be sat at home during school hours.
