Yeah, great. iPhone. Woo. No really, I can’t wait.
Apple. When you release something in the USA, don’t forget the genetics your yanky doodles are based on. The Brits and Irish. Please, stop being greedy. Your “great” price of £269 is $538. That’s nearly $150 more than the current US price ($399).
$399 is £199 (give or take). For that price, I can get a iPod Touch 8gig. Now that’s a choice. iPod + Contract, or iPod. Do I really have to pay the extra £70 for 1/2 the capicity, a email client and a crappy 2 megapixle camera? Not to forget that there is a minimum of a £35 per-month contract for a minimum of 18 months.
UK grand total: £269 + (£35 x 18 = £630) = £899 / $1798.
My video iPod and K750i do their jobs fine. Why do I need to change?
