At long last, a new budget Digital SLR from Nikon has been released. The new Nikon D60 replaces the D40, D40x and the aging D80. 10.2 MP sensor and the kit comes with a VR lens.
One feature I’m glad about though is support for AF-S and AF-L lenses. Finally, my 70-300mm lens will have auto-focus. Its a small request which would be nice and makes life easier.
Its the same body of the D40/x and thats pretty lite. Featuring all the features which made its predecsours great, and new features which should add to it, this things gonna be a great camera.
UK price: £449 (body-only) or £529 with a VR 18-55mm Lens.
Did you know Lego is 50 years old today? Google certainly noticed!

As a 17 year old, I can’t drink. But if I could, I’d properly stick to something nice such as Speckled Hen. However, a four pack of the stuff is around £4.60 for a pack of four. However, it turns out that the supermarkets has an alternative, the basic larger.
For the small price of 92p, you can get a four-pack of basic / value / cheap bitter. The price is the same wherever you go. Where as the hen has an alcohol content of 5.2%, basic is 2.1%. Half the alcohol percentage.
My Sainsburys cans, sitting in the fridge till I’m 18, come in an attractive orange and white color scheme. As you can see, no expense is spent on packaging.
Although yet to taste this fine, hops based beverage, I’m sure it won’t be as good as the higher quality brew.

I went on a long ramble on my lunch brake today. Walked from Peter Symonds all the way to Kingsworthy via McDonald’s, The Rec Center and Hyde.
Its properly not done by the great man himself, due to Winchester not being known for a great area to tag. But if it is real, then wow, really wow.
