Apple doesn’t mean as much to me as it used to, but that doesn’t mean I’m not interested. Last years iPhone announcement leaves a big expectation for this years.
I, personally, think that Apples going to release an ultra portable Macbook with a 13inch screen and no DVD drive. Perhaps with even Wireless USB, which all major computer groups support. The rumors say its gonna be called the “MacBook Air”. Woo, goodbye brains, hello anorexia.
WiMax may be added to the Mac lines. No new iPhone, perhaps a preview of an SDK, but MacWorlds not a developers conference. An upgrade to the Apple TV if they release movie rentals. Who knows what else, don’t ask me.

I just hope it’s going to be MacWorld as MacWorld should be, not too much consumer electronics stuff… although I don’t mind some iPhone/iPod stuff since I have my iPod Touch now.
So I’m here at Macworld and Steve Jobs is going to speak soon. The exhibit hall opens at 11am afterwards. The rumor is that the major announcement this year is itunes movie rentals. Perhaps an update to AppleTV and possibly a flash based micro laptop. We’ll see in less than an hour…
