As a 17 year old, I can’t drink. But if I could, I’d properly stick to something nice such as Speckled Hen. However, a four pack of the stuff is around £4.60 for a pack of four. However, it turns out that the supermarkets has an alternative, the basic larger.
For the small price of 92p, you can get a four-pack of basic / value / cheap bitter. The price is the same wherever you go. Where as the hen has an alcohol content of 5.2%, basic is 2.1%. Half the alcohol percentage.
My Sainsburys cans, sitting in the fridge till I’m 18, come in an attractive orange and white color scheme. As you can see, no expense is spent on packaging.
Although yet to taste this fine, hops based beverage, I’m sure it won’t be as good as the higher quality brew.

Haha, you’re so funny! As if those are going to stay there until you’re 18. Unless you’re 18 very soon …
