Sunshine!

We’ve had great weather for the last week. Sunshine every day. Nothing but warm weather which allows me to wear T-Shirt and jeans. No need for a coat or jumper. Just what I am after. :)

Some wanker has posted “Nemew” all around town. If you head though the underpath near the station, he claims it as “My Spot”. Great Nemew, but what did you want to achieve? Nought. Infact this post is probably going to turn up as No 1 on Google for that tag.

My first exam, Computing, turns up on Monday. Which makes it one of the earliest exams in the whole A-Level exams. Our teacher told us this gem about the people who will be judging us.

Half of all computing examiners don’t know Delphi or Pascal

Which means there’s a chance whoever is looking at my paper won’t be able to correctly mark my code. Which means I’ll fail because they failed. Humbugger :(

I do so love this weather! It makes me feel very happy :)
Hmm, i noticed that NEMEW in a few places. Apparently a 19-year-old was arrested but released on bail.

I’m all against graffiti, but it does sort of remind me of Doctor Who, which excites me very slightly.

Computing, is that the computing as in CPT3 as in Peters Petrol Pump? We’ve been told the same about VB, nice to know that the examiners don’t know what the code does ain’t it!

I find it very reassuring that they don’t know what their marking. They might as well mark the Chinese A-Level, as long as they have a mark scheme.

Yes, it is “Peters Petrol Pumps”. Once I get this exam over, I’ll post my code online. Its around 400 lines, and works great, so hopefully next year’s students can get some use out of it.

I’ve seen Nemew too!!! Only once though! Going down past the Library

Wow, only 400 lines! I managed to get over 900 for the 7 segment alone, and mine is probably one of the shortest within our class! I’m guessing either VB has a more complex way of dealing with things or we’ve all been going about it the wrong way.
