Looks like the next (by one) version of Ubuntu’s gonna be called “Gusty Gibbon“. 7.10 will be “completely free”. No commercial firmware, software, ect. So for example, they’ll use the Nouevua driver instead of nVidia’s binary driver. Hopefully this won’t reduce the chances of Compiz development on Ubuntu.
