Due to my fantastic AS results, for my own good, I have to drop one of my subjects. To be fair, I never really enjoyed it and was never good at it. I really only took it because my parents wanted me to. So dropping it for me is probably a good thing.
On the down side, it means I’m only taking 3 A-Levels.However, we live in a world where the university admission system work of a points system and not what grades you get. This means if I take anouther AS course, that gets me more UCAS points. And the more points I get, the better chance I have of getting into university.
So thats what I’m doing. 3 A-Levels and 1 AS. Mainly just for the chance of getting more points.
I’ve taken up “Politics & Goverment”. Which I have no experience in, but want to learn about and have an interest in. Hopefully I’ll enjoy the course, else its too late now.
Once I told my mum about my choice, she just pointed at me and laughed. Gee, that makes me feel much better about something which may hinder my chances at uni. ![]()
