Resolutions Roundup (2008)
Like last year, I set myself 6 tasks to try and achieve this year. Resolutions if you will. Now to look back older, and wiser, at what I wanted at the start of the year.
Get a girlfriend - Something in my brain switched in the later half of 07. I have no idea where to look or what for. Hopefully this will be one goal which I can achieve this year.
Do something musical - Learn to sing or play an instrument perhaps. Who knows, one day I may release an album!
I brought a second hand guitar. Thats as far as that went this year!
Think before I speak - I’ve said some stupid shit last year which could have avoided the effects which followed. Like crossing the road, I’ve got to think before I do it, and look both ways.
Better than last year, but we all make mistakes. Besides, we’re human.
Upper Body Work - Over a period of 3 months, I managed to loose my puppy fat and gain a better figure. I managed to loose around 18 pounds, moving my weight from 160 pounds to 142 pounds. Now I need to work on my upper body. Toneing my stomach is the main goal, followed by pecks, then arm muscle. With constant work, this should be a possible task.
Ah, well I haven’t failed there. Haven’t achived everything I wanted, but I’m getting close. Something more to work on in 09.
Promote my stuff - Try to get people around me who may be interested in my work to take a look. A few more comments would be nice. But you’ve got to give comments if you also want to receive comments.
Done that. Got some more readers, and a bit more contribution. I’ll continue with that as well.
Join some sorta club - Be it a team, band, drinking club, something with members. Might make some new friends.
Not a member of any new clubs. But I have made new friends. So yay.
3 / 6 - Thats a good score for this year. Roll on 2009!

Three out of six is not bad! Well done! Will you set yourself another six for this year?
By the way, i don’t think finding a partner is something that you can plan for. It happened for me when i was least expecting it!

The one thing I’m going to try this year is to not make too much of a fool of myself.

Haha, good luck with that!
